1 year isn't enough to evaluate. He will have 3-4 yr window regardless

That's the minimum completed forward passes per game.

it's understood to take a couple of years, but LSU is set up to at least be as equal..

definitely not worst.

i would hope for 1-2 though and be way more content with less than 3 losses.

Losses??!!?

He has to win every game by a 100 and beat bama by 200.

Really I want to see a team that is balanced on offense, solid on defense and special teams, and doesn't make silly mistakes.

And beat bama by 200.

If we dont get any DT's and ILB's this class regardless who the coach is we lose 4 games.

So, if he loses 6 games - which Miles never did even once, that's fine?

If he loses 5 games next year and 6 games in 2017, does he get 3 to 4 years?

I am not worried about losses next year. Get the right guy and give him time to build his team. That said I don't think it would be out of the question for LSU to be in the thick of things for the West next year. Really depends on which coach we get and if the current players are a similar fit to his approach.

Depends

1. How many penalties do we have per game?

2. How many timeouts do we need to call to get a
play off?

3. Are we able to punch the ball in the endzone
with first down from the one?

4. Are we talking about losses in the SEC west
division (we are under .500 last 4 yrs)?

5. Are we in the games to the end or 20 points
down in 1st qtr?

I say the same number Miles would if he was to stay. If you are going to buy out Miles for 15M and spend another 30M deal or so on the next guy-he better win the SEC at least right away!!! No worthy coach is going to come here unless you pay a lot of geetas!!!

Baylor is the second most penalized team in Division 1A (FBS sounds stupid and dated, since we have a playoff now).

Too early to tell..need to see who leaves, who comes in, injuries in the spring/fall, who is staff is

No need to marginalize him (whoever the coach is) or things right now, BUT if you had to give an answer the team should be competing for the west next year.

They're not marginalizing the new coach, they're trying to defend Miles by making a dumb point.
