there are now 12 game seasons with a conference championship game.
So you're really gonna argue that this hasn't been the most successful period in LSU history?
The only decade that might come close is th 30's.
You glass 1/2 empty folk should realize an extra game is still a chance to lose, and SECCG even moreso.
Why don't you figure the decades by winning percentage and see if it proves your point?

no, no where in my post did I argue that

hold the breaks there, I am not a glass half full kind of guy in any way, I was merely pointing out that your logic, and your statistics are severely flawed.

to get two coaches in a row who are consistent winners....and it is a hell of a longshot to get a third, IMO...as the dandy one used to say...it is a great time to be a tiger fan!...

As long as we keep the program free from major violations of NCAA rules that could result in loss of scholarships and post-season bans. And as long as Les stays away from young female co-eds.

Seems a duplicate but....from other thread

I think this is a very good question. IMO, if CLM continues to do well till 2020 or so, the next HC choice is critical. IF the club can retin upper echelon status well into a 3rd decade I think it's a done deal. It would then take a huge amount of unraveling to undo this. Till then...enjoy, I know I do. Looking to update my signature in a positve manner for years to come.

It's not hard to become mediocre. Look at Florida after they lost their coach. LSU fans need to appreciate les miles more than they do.

You would think. UF, UT, ND, the other UT, etc, etc.

I agree wholeheartedly. After CLM retires that hire will be big.

I can, but I also think Saban would've won at least 2 more championships after the '03 one had he stayed around.

You can think that if you want, but Saban came back to college football as a better coach than when he left.

When Saban was here, people were constantly questioning and criticizing him. He was far from perfect.
