Some ask this question because they are worried and don't want him to leave.
Others I suspect ask it because they would like to see him go if they think it will hasten the exit of Miles.
Which is it in this case?

This has been posted many many times before about Chavis. Doubt we see any of those today. Let's see how things play out before we worry about that.

As an Indiana football fan, his 4-4 Big Ten record the year he was fired, including wins at Michigan State and Wisconsin, is a remarkable accomplishment. He was also hired at IU when he was only 36-years-old. They lived through his head coaching growth and then a new AD came in and fired him to hire Gerry DiNardo who was beyond bad.
