How likely is it that Game 1 starts as scheduled?

Scale of 1 to 10

First pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 1:00 pm.

Currently, there isn't much of a chance of rain on Saturday. But anyone who has lived in south LA knows there is (almost) ALWAYS a chance of an afternoon shower every day from June through September. We also know if there any chance of rain in the 3 hour window from first pitch Jay is going to do everything he can to delay the start until the chance of rain is out of the picture.

Do we actually see the game start on time? Or is it a repeat of Friday where fans spend 3 hours bitching about the game being delayed despite it not raining at, or anywhere close, to the stadium?

I'm giving it a 3/10 chance of starting at 1:00 pm

More worried the heat is going to greatly reduce the stamina of starting pitcher likely Anderson.

LSU plays in heat all the time.

West Virginia does not.

I'm only worried about how I'M going to handle the heat sitting in the sun with the rest of the plebs.

Drink plenty water and reserve any alcohol consumption for the post game celebration.

Spend some extra time outside this week to get acclimated.
