I missed Florida game as a student because I had an opportunity to sit in a suite. Could I use this as an excuse. Only road game I went to was Oregon.

Should have just swiped in the student gate and sat in the suite. Guess you weren't too worried about the possibility of getting tickets to the BCSCG. I really hope you're joking about using that as an excuse.

This isn't like missing a test. They aren't going to let you make up your attendance

Some people on this site amaze me.

I sat with someone at the sec game with 0 priority points.. So obviously all were accepted. Bcs game will be requested more though, but then again. Alot of people aren't going to want to pay 300 for a ticket. I'm sure a lot will buy for 300 and sell for 1000+

They'll do game day pickup to avoid students trying to scalp them

Which is an hour and a half from campus. Would you make the drive for a grand?

Exactly, it actually wouldn't surprise me to see them give them out here like they do for road games. If people want to sell them they'd easily make that drive the day of, it's not like it's in ATL.

Who said everybody is going to be on campus/in BR a week before the semester starts?

Well it's during break and most random buyers paying 1000 bucks aren't going to put blind faith in a student to pick up a ticket 5 hours before kickoff.

In '07, they gave out tickets on the day of the game at the Dome. Seating was determined by when you picked up your tickets, but you couldn't start lining up at the window until 7:00 am if I remember correctly. The pre-line across the street started the night before. At 7:00 there was a stampede up the ramps and then 5 hours of waiting until the window opened at noon. (very reminiscent of post-Katrina outside the Dome).

They don't do that anymore. Going to be Pre assigned seats based on your group average.

Or you can bring the average down putting you in the upper deck.

In 07 there was that huge line, so I grabbed like 8 student IDs and jumped the barricade and went to the front of the line. Got the tickets no problem. It was tight
