If you see something besides the score and look at the stats then you can answer that yourself.

ETA: That's the only year I can think of that you could possibly be referring to, and we won the NCG that year. Maybe 2003 also, but we were the defending NC's, at that time, and had won a ton of close games the year before, so the media was gonna give us the benefit of the doubt. And beat two ranked teams early in the year OOC, before losing to Wisky and dropping.
