TheY got three six month sentences..which in law enforcement is nothing.. by tying up resources that should have been focused on drugs and terrorism.

College basketball has had this stuff going on for decades.. the shoe guys. The AAU coaches. The handlers. And the player agents .. have been doing this for decades. The handlers and the AAU coaches most likely are taking most of the money.

The FBI should be embarrassed for starting the Investigation

How much money did the FBI spend on this? From the Yacht, to the trips to Vegas, Suites, loads of cash that they were just giving away, not to mention the money the agent may or may not have stolen.

As embarrased as they are about the 26 fake FISA warrants, the FBI is a corrupt broken organization. It should be disbanded and start from scratch.

I agree with this but it also clearly looks bad for the FBI considering the direct evidence (their own wiretap recordings), the video of Dawkins taking the money not the coaches, and the lead investigator stealing money and gambling with it.

Completely agree, total shite show. But from what the FBI has shown the last few years I’m not the least bit surprised.

HBO is making the FBI look like a complete joke of late.

the FBI has accomplished that on their own over the past couple of decades very well...they are corrupt and incompetent...

They got three convictions in connection with this case. The FBI doesn’t care about the NCAA’s amateurism bylaws, that’s not their concern and was not within their scope.

While you are accurate in your position, is it considered a win to the FBI if the “Scheme” has changed one bit after this is brought to light?

Yeah, the guy was completely innocent but happened to have at least $90k in cash lying around the house. Totally normal for an average Joe.

This investigation indirectly led to Michael Avenatti's arrest. Not sure if the FBI calls that a win or not.

Avenatti being charged with allegedly extorting @Nike - officials say Avenatti told @Nike they had to hire him to do an internal investigation or he would hold a presser accusing the company of being involved in a recruiting/bribery scandal similar to an earlier case with Adidas.

I mean let's be honest the guy is guilty as hell but everyone is doing it and the FBI should have better things to do than worry about college basketball so they should probably just take a walk and move on.

There are like 10 people who care, Dickey V, a couple guys at Yahoo, and a few forums trolls... that's about it.

I guess that puts me on the "Free Will Wade" side of things, who would have thought.
