Perhaps you should check out right and left field.

that ball four "dude" is the K-Lady and the point of the chant is to make your voice tone lower.

A friend last night told me the K Lady was a bitch. That they tried to talk to her once and she just ignored them. Also, that she treats her husband like complete shite. She acts like she is part of the team. They said that was their impressions after sitting behind her once.

With that said, I could care less what anybody does at the Box as long as it doesn't obstruct or affect my viewing of the game.

Student tickets are out in right field...there's no official student section at the Box. I think they are general admission.

Back when I was a student (96-00) we'd get in with a student ticket and sit where ever we could.

K-Lady: She's an interesting part of The Box...but I do think she's an attention whore.

CG: Can be annoying, but he is good at what he does, he gets the crowd up at appropriate times.

Birdman: last time I saw him he was walking around the stadium just doing the bird call...not actually watching the game intently. But I do like to hear the birdcall on TV broadcasts.

Everything in moderation people...it's the secret to life.

Student tickets for regionals/super regionals are assigned seats. Most of the time during the regular season we got SRO tickets.

Well my family didn't meet her until a few years ago at the SEC tourney and she saves seats for us now. So I guess your friends didn't make a very good first impression on her. From your attitude, I can see why she didn't like your friends.

Are you kidding me with this crap about the K-Lady, Chris, and the Birdman?! They are all unique to LSU and you guys should be proud of the legacy of the difficulty it is to play at LSU they have helped build. I didn't see any of you featured in the opening ceremonies at the Villanova game. Also, the K-Lady freakin rocks. She's an awesome person and a good family friend.

Agree. These people have been going to games for years and supporting the team. They are a part of what the Box a special place before the big crowds packed it regularly. I don't know why some people always fell the need to try to tear other people down.

This post makes me sick to my stomach. Chris Guillot, K lady, and the birdman are all part of LSU baseball. May I remind you that our baseball program is the finest in the country with an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere in college baseball, or minor leaugue baseball. I believe only Fenway, and Wrigley tops Alex Box. So you fools that have a complaint, please sell your tickets. Ignore them Chris

I agree.....like it personally or not....it is a part of the unique experience of the Box and why we are hands down the best place to watch college baseball in the country!!

Wrong. It's a man and he's a Baton Rouge attorney. I know his name but I'm not going to post it on this board because, well.....as I said, he's an attorney.....

My attitude? How about your impression of my friends. They are nice guys who enjoy the game. We enjoy the atmosphere and support the team. Sad thing is I've heard some variation of this story from multiple people. I could care less if your mother's uncle's brother said she was an awesome person. I actually have no doubt that she probably is but I've never heard anything but nice things about Guillot from the same people. Impressions vary; I don't claim to know the truth. Just what I'm told.

Chris is a part of the tradition of the Box and LSU baseball. He is there for almost every single game. He is at road games, he supports the team day in and day out. I have no problem with him and I think 99% of the "regular" baseball crowd don't either. Why does someone showing enthusiasm and getting the crowd to yell and cheer make "LSU fans" look dumb. I could go off on the bandwagon fans who never show up for a single game until Regionals or Super Regionals and then criticize the traditions and the fans who are there all season long. Last weekend and this, this idiot couple has suddenly shown up for the games and want to tell everyone around them to sit down or be quiet, or whatever. Finally a long time fan told them how we do things in our section and invited them to take "their arse" somewhere else. Not another word was heard from them all night and of course they left in the 7th inning. I'm curious to see if they're back today.

CG is an LSU graduate.

He's earned the right to be loud and proud.

You know what worries me?

That in a few years, the fat cats who go to games to see and be seen will be the majority at Tiger Stadium and The Box and the atmosphere will be totally different.

I wish there were 100 more CGs at the Box.

AND I wish there were 20,000 more drunk, screaming cajuns in Tiger Stadium who these days can't afford to go.

I prefer them to the fat cats these days who fill up those corporate season-ticket seats.
