for frick's sake, can we let it go, that yes, Miles, STATISTICALLY, has a high ranking….
It's amusing that "X&O" is seen by some to be of higher value in a HC than winning...go figure.
This is just me, but I'm thinking that any HC leading the SEC/BCS in wins since 05 probably has a fair grasp on his "X&O" material.

And regarding X's and O's...that's why you hire coordinators. If the HC is calling plays (O or D) why waste the money?

Most people will agree that Steve Spurrier is a good gameday coach and X and O guy. Les is a better manager than gameday coach.
Look at Saturdays game--The Manager Won. Why--He got his players to play harder for him than the other guy. We all wish Les was a little better at gametime situations but sometimes you can not have it all. Most of our recent problems are the result of one thing---QB's that can't compete against good SEC defenses. Bama has been fortunate that the last 2 they have had became good game managers.
If we had good QB play the last 3-4 yrs I truly believe we would have won at least one more NC.
Some of the blame can go to Les but to be fair its probably the hardest position to recruit and develop. Lets enjoy the success we are having and support Les--he has been great for the University.

I've been on that train since the 3rd quarter of the Canes bowl game.
