It's definitely part of the reason we get the talent we do. Be careful what you wish for.

Its going to take a culture change. And that’s not going to be easy. Especially with the NFL right there.

LSU needs to preach playing for LSU first.

When Saban coached LSU, he would tell recruits, “this is why you need LSU...” and the pitch would be how they are going to be part of a system that prepares and develops them as football players and men. Playing in the NFL and winning was an effect of being in and working in the system.

These days we say “this is why you need LSU...” and the pitch is, you only have to stay three years and you can leave! Awesome!

Our priorities and recruiting targets are out of whack. We need to get back to selling people on what’s great about LSU. And not just the players. Everyone. Even the fans.

I feel Like it isn’t a culture change needed.

We need to sit this guys down and go over their actual prospect.

I also Think a few guys slipped that we’re unexpected.

I didnt See Tolliver going undrafted.

Hell they should do a private pro day for these kids and show them where they stack up compared to last years deaft. If you’re running a 4.85... maybe don’t go pro.

Stop posting how much this one or that one signed for as an UDFA, how much Alfred Blue makes as a second back, how DWhite and Greedy will be gone after next year. The ink is barely dry on this years' departures, and there's immediately 5 threads a day about who will be gone next year. This stuff just adds fuel to the fire.

Further, once athletes are gone, access to the field during games should be only provided for athletes who used up their four years of eligibility. No more OBJ and the like down there slingin' their bling and making spectacles of themselves.

Stop selling the program as "3 years to prepare you for the NFL" and start competing for championships. Kids on the fence will stick around if they believe they'll get to play for something big.

This is a dumb suggestion. The problem is not with the OBJs, LF7s, or PP7s. They were all right to leave. The problem is with the Tollivers and Weathersbys.

I can’t see how turning your back on your most successful alumni would benefit the program at all.

Do you really think Fournette would have stayed an extra year just to have sideline access for life?

But if you're a JR and you're a first round pick, why would you come back?

This is how I know you didn’t read shite in this thread.

The issue is never the top draft picks leaving it’s the UDFAs abd the 5th, 6th, abd 7th rounders leaving.

If you’re gonna be an a-hole, at least know what we are talking about in the thread first.
