I think they host and win their regional then lose 2/3 in the super regional on the road.

This team will be very tough to beat if we get healthy. If that happens, our biggest weakness with be the 3rd starting pitcher. But, that’s not that much different than previous seasons. I can still see us making it to the CWS. It’s just hard to tell how good this team is, yet.

The SEC should get 5 regional hosts - in my opinion, Fla and Arky are locks. Probably Vandy from East, which leaves 2 from West, which will come down to Ole Miss, LSU, and Texas A&M. It will most likely take 18 wins, which will be a 9-6 2nd half. We'll see.

We aren't out of the running, at all, for a national seed. This would be relatively typical for LSU under CPM to make a run and at least make it into the conversation.

We'll be hosting a regional. We could be a national seed.
If we get healthy, I'd like our chances of getting to the supers and making another run at it.

"Lost too many weekday games" ? What does that have to do with how LSU finishes?

Right. The thing that I think excites the majority of us is that baseball seasons tend to have "that moment" of turning the corner and getting hot (at least it's been here the majority of seasons with CPM).
Yesterday easily could've been that moment. We needed that sweep, and the dramatic nature of game 3 was amazing.

Get healthy and the sky could be the limit.

Still have work to do on the RPI and SOS but that will take care of itself with Ole Miss and Ark coming up, but you need to win both those series and SEC tourney will be huge as well.

I think they end up hosting and will have to travel to Super unless you get an upset which seems to be happening more and more with college baseball parity. Really depends on who they get paired up with in Super. Southern Miss is looking like a host again and NCAA is not shy about pairing up with them again.
