How does a bowl stadium affect wind?

In Tiger Stadium the flags will be blowing one direction but on the field it can be blowing a completely different direction. The wind whips on the field level. Can greatly affect the kicking game. I don’t think it’ll affect the passing game because the ball is spiraling and not end over end.
