Lee is a big part of LSU. He got us where we are today when many of us were anxious about the first game in Dallas. LSU is unique in rotating 2 Q-Backs. Lee will always be one of LSU's most respected players.

quote:

IIt's not a fixation with Lee and not about Jefferson either. Its about a guy who got you to 8-0 without whom you wouldn't be in this position. Its about that guy not seeing the field when you're up 40-17 and the game well in hand on senior day, the last time for him to play in Tiger Stadium for himself and in front of family and friends. We also may yet need this guy before its all said and done. Its about doing what's right

+ 1

BTW, do not expect many here to be able to stand on character..some will, but many will not.
They will turn your statement around.

Have you ever heard the saying "missed the beauty of the forest by focussing on the ugliness of the trees"?

You need to quit focussing on how ugly that one oak tree is and take a step back. In with the good air, out with the bad.

You've never experienced a more dominant season of LSU football in your life. Enjoy it.

you are entitled to ignore the point.
2 different points:
Personally I can appreciate and enjoy the season, as well as thinking that fairness has not been served.

two "viewpoints" can coexist at once.

rbdallas: you're talking way above some of these folks' mental capacity. Sure, we're excited about the wins, the rankings, and the opportunities that exists- but some of us are directed by a moral compass and the rest of them are simply, Mile's Minions.

I probably would have put Lee in one series earlier, but that's me.

this. les had a quote earlier this week saying he'd like to get lee in the game 'every quarter.' obviously sometimes the game doesnt flow like that but that's like twice now that lee is supposed to get all these snaps and only gets a lame series or two at the end of an arse whipping. feel for the kid but we wouldn't be here without him and we still need him to be ready.

Met Lee's parents as we left the stadium yesterday. Told them we were very happy that their son stayed the course and didn't transfer. He was the reason we were in the position we are today. Apologized for the way he's been treated. By the way, 2-quarterback 'system' infers you actually 'play' 2 quarterbacks throughout the game. Les does not have a 2-quarterback 'system'. Hope Lee stays positive, we may need him in one of the last two BIG games.

They went undefeated, on the way to the SEC championship game. He played a big part in the successful season.

He could have been worse. You have to believe he is proud of his and the teams accomplishments so far this year.

Mike da Tigah,
You want to do "what's right"?

Then as a FAN, STAY IN YOUR LANE! Stop trying to micro-manage/coach this team. And just ENJOY what this TEAM (no individual player) has accomplished.

In 100+ years of football this is only the second time in history LSU goes undefeated in the regular season. 12-0....two games better that the 10-0 1958 regular season.

Yet...some want to criticize Les for what players, played when, and for how many minutes.

GET OVER IT and ENJOY THE RIDE!

you're not directed by a moral compass, you're directed by your disdain for Miles and your belief that finding something to bitch about somehow displays objectiveness and intelligence. The fact is you, nor I, have no idea what the underlying issues are regarding Lee's playing time.

lol at you crybabies who have actually convinced yourself you are morally superior due to your position. You are not. Only logically inferior. And since you've only chosen 1 player to champion over the dozens who did not play even at all yesterday, I'd say hypocritical as well.

I think he enjoyed his day. No worries, no pressure, has a cult following of LSU fans. When the Tigers win the BCSNC he will be given the credit for holding this team together and leading them to the first 8 wins of a 14-0 season. He will be LEGEND.

I'm sure Lee is fine. He was a major contributer to this seasons result. I'm sure he have like to play more but I doubt he is wallowing about it.

Does anyone here really believe JL would been real happy if he had just got three more snaps in garbage time?

That woulda been all better. Three more dives.
