The offense/special teams/refs is what cost us this game. Whether it be the wr drops, OL personal fouls, qb interception, Questionable play calling in OT, or not running for the first down on 4th and 10 in OT, kickoff going out of bounds (kicker), no pass interference calls the final two plays of the game (refs). The defense was top notch this past Saturday except for the 3rd and 18 draw play.

I'm with the OP. Dropped passes, and the inability to kickoff correctly and stop 1 more drive cost us the game. I did not see any glaring coaching errors (either in gameplean or in-game adjustments).

I have no idea. I mean that if you don't want to see REAL bashing, then stay out of game threads. This is not bashing.

So if players whiff on plays, drop passes and get unnecessary penalties users can get banned? Seems legit.

He is certainly not the worse in D-1, but he may be the worse in the SEC and he doesn't seem to be improving. It may not be the coaches fault, except for a poor evaluation.

I blame him for almost never having a decent passing game

He has had 2 3000 yard passers and Flynn threw for 2900. We pass when we have the proper personnel. If your issue is with his recruitment of a QB....

Ok. I will. Its pretty damn hard to beat elite teams without a passing game. The fact that we've had hot garbage for a passing game most of his tenure tells me its a coaching issue.

Agreed. Solid gameplan and we should've won, we just made too many mistakes at key moments. I'm not blaming Les for this one.

This one was not on the coaches. I did question the play call that led to the interception, but the WR cannot fall down on that play.

...can't argue with you on this , except it was just a few guys ( "several' ? ).. some ( "most" ? ) of the guys played solid games ... it was a tough loss. Guys played hard , and had a few unfortunate , ill-timed execution brain farts. The PF call after recovered fumble DID , however, change complexion of game. Completely bogus.... I think coaches know what we know about the QB situation , and are working with what they have in front of them. jennings is - after all - basically a frosh playing time wise. perhaps (hopefully ) we will see some more of Harris in last 2 games ... might as well ...

Agreed!! The only other team in the SEC he could possibly have a shot at starting for at this point is Vandy. I do think he has the talent to get the job done but he just doesn't look to be improving in any dimensions of his game.

We had the lead with 50 seconds left in the game. You can complain about our ineffective passing game all you want but that does not change the fact LSU was winning with 50 seconds left in regulation.

Dropped passes, kick out of bounds, personal foul. Hard to blame Les for these errors

for once I totally agree......all of these combined cost us the game. Additionally, might have to throw a dart Chavis's way for whatever kind of defense that was the last bama drive.

Recognizing shortcomings isn't the same as bashing. Trey Quinn is a freshman that dropped a couple of balls he should have caught. If he'd have caught just one of them we probably win. Those are facts.

I really doubt he makes those mistakes with more experience under his belt.

Couldn't coaches call a timeout when the catch to 22 was questionable to make sure it was called right. Couldn't the coaches from the sidelines call a time out on a drive around the 50 where it was 2 and 10 and instead let Jennings once again take a delay of game call. I guess the coaches didn't have any input on that and where just watching one hell of a game like the rest of the fans.

I agree with all that. Players made bad plays at critical times. Miles knows what kind if offense we need to run to win and we could have. Sometimes players have to make plays.

This is why this place is so fricking stupid.

Do you honestly think either of these had an impact on the final outcome? a 5 yard penalty in the third quarter on a 2nd a 10 play? And Christian Jones caught that ball. Certainly wasn't going to be enough evidence to have the call overturned.

its simple with a 1:30 something seconds left we are 1st and goal inside the 25 cause of a penalty , and you lay up and only run 20/30 seconds of the clock to set up a field goal ,, conservative and conservative cost us a game which those boys deserved to win . he could atleast took 2 shots at the end zone and then ran to middle of field and then field goal ... and then in overtime you run the same dam play 3 times to same side of field in a row .....man please im not drinking hater aide but im so sick of him and his lame arse offense
