Sherman Williams got hurt too, he hobbled off early. Hard to win with 5 turnovers.

Senior at LSU. Watching it with friends while waiting to hear if I was going be a daddy. Got a call right before the last play. No prego and pigs flew. Stressful day.

Bama played some fellow named Kitchens, in relief of Brian Burgdorf, in the second half, and he was terrible.
David Palmer made a game of it in the 4th quarter for the Tide, but LSU was never in serious trouble during the game, as their offense, esp the running game clicked and the Tigers kept moving the chains and kept the ball away from Bama.
Yea the LSU win was surprising given earlier blowout losses vs A&M, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky and *gasp* Florida-- 58-3! But, Bama WAS overrated that year
