He literally said that we hadn't played a defense until we play Clemson....that they would do us like they did bama the previous year......then the fans down in New Orleans for the game were all talking a lot of shite with zero doubt that they would win.

what do you expect? Hell, there are ND fans that are convinced that they are the best program and football, and will argue you at all length to prove their point. They haven't won a NC in what, 35 years? But, that doesn't stop them. It is much like Tenn and their fans......27 years, and every single year they are coming.
Hell, several on here are scared to death of clemson because they say they have a tremendous defense....yet those same players made up the terrible defense that they had. I'm sure Clemson will be a solid team, but the hype is unreal. If LSU is legit, LSU will beat Clemson, comfortably, even on the road.

The only difference I see is that their delusion seems to be 100% across their board. Every single one of them think that Tom Allen will immediately fix every defensive problem they had last year and that their offense will be better than ever. I saw some measured takes such as "LSU will be good" but I didn't see a single person on their board express concern that they could potentially be bad at anything. Meanwhile we have multiple jackasses in THIS thread taking about us getting run out of their stadium.
