I can't believe a rational thinker like yourself is in any way in favor of how all this shite went down these past 2 weeks. I really can't.
Because sentimental bullshite about loving a guy's stubbornness in spite of yourself is the furthest thing from rational.

May? That horse left the barn after 1/9.
So you were ready to fire him after a perfect regular season and SEC championship?
Assuming that's true, you know how crazy that sounds, don't you?

Nope. It was the first strikeout for Les on his way to his third strikeout over the next few years. It really opened my eyes to the ineptitude of Les.
Unfortunately, Les is still striking out and tons of les supporters aren't willing to call him out yet.

I do think the offense should be significantly revamped. Not necessarily a gimmicky HS offense (although there will be some of those in the playoffs) - but a lot of changes.
If changes aren't made, Les will not be able to finish out his current contract as written. At a certain point, everything that happens is his responsibility.

It's bad when I'm looking forward to watching LSU baseball more than I am of the football team.

Instead of ripping the bandaid off and hiring while we are still an upper echelon program, we will fade slowly (much like Tenn hanging on to Fulmer) and end up having to settle for a coach that is 'up and coming' but unproven. We won't sniff Atlanta for the next 5-6 years. But hey our coach eats grass and says stupid crap, that's so much better than competing for SEC championships.

Les is stil using the same offense he used 7 years ago. He's had 5 OCs and not one of them actually developed QBs they recruited out of high school and produced a competent and consistent offense and 2013 was an outlier because Mett was JuCo and already developed when he came here.
Les is the common denominator here and he will never change. When we go through another year of this excuse not panning out, you will believe this.

no he wasn't, the dude went straight to the dog house when he got here and couldn't get playing time from JL and JJ...

Les miles will usually go for veteran players over the newer guys when it comes to QB. I really can't remember a year where this wasn't the case.
The bottom line is that Les runs a 1970s Michigan offense and he will never move away from that into the 21st century to properly utilize talent that is wasted every year at LSU.

Tom Coughlin's stubborn arse finally relented enough to win two Super Bowls.
Who's to say the shitstorm of the last week might not finally get the attention of Les' stubborn arse?

I'll believe it when I see it on the field consistently producing.
There's literally no evidence to believe he's capable of changing his ways.

There was literally no evidence to believe Tom Coughlin was capable of not fining players for being late to meetings by being 4 minutes early.
