How can a team like Ten. Tech have better hitters than LSU?

Just proof that baseball recruiting is way behind football recruiting. A lot of teams missed on those guys.

See Stony Brook
See Coastal Carolina

Etc

Mid majors always acquire talent with the 11.7 scholarship rules. Every once in a while they come in the postseason with junior and senior heavy teams.

We have the fewest strikeouts in the SEC and just put up 14 hits this morning...

Wake up idiots

They can rake. I'd love to have some of these bats.. but it isn't just LSU.. they have more homers than any school.

Lets be honest, 14 hits has been rare for this team.

When you get past the 5th, maybe 6th hitter...it's not too good!

They must have more talent than a lot of teams because they lead the NCAA in homeruns.

You do not beat Florida no 1 at that with shitty hitters. Does not happen. Timely hitting but not shitty. It is apparent LSU is in a position to do great things still.

Here’s the deal a lot of people also don’t realize. A lot of players at blue blood programs know their careers will continue after college.

At a place like Tennessee Tech, for the most part, this is it. There is no more baseball after this. They are the guys who have probably been told they weren’t good enough and they absolutely bust their arse every game because they know their time playing baseball is running out.

Perfect Game guys (your top recruits) often don’t have that extra edge and chip on your shoulder this mid major players have.

Coastal Carolina is the prime example of this.

Coastal Carolina had some hosses on that team. Just big ol boys that could mash. This particular team is young and many of them are pretty small. A year of food and the weight room and our power numbers should rise at least a little
