wasn't that an admin decision last year that forced the Greeks to no longer party at their houses. The first game they were at the parade grounds was disgusting last year.

FIFY
Passed by last night after the game and the amount of garbage on the PG was every bit as bad, if not worse than before. And I promise you, none of the perps that trashed the area paid the $40 parking fee. The number of giant tents was way up from last year, even for a cupcake game, and so was the garbage. They should charge the Greeks $40 for every 4 people at their parties, just to be fair.

My kids aren't perfect, but they certainly don't think it's cool or funny to turn full trash cans upside down and kick garbage around like I have regularly watched the frat boys do.
How old are your kids?
If you don't have boys that are between 18 and 22 then shut up.
If you do, and they don't do stupid shite, then I question a lot of things.
And your "frat boys" generalization is like saying all 92,000 LSU fans are dicks because 1,000 of them act like dicks.
I've seen plenty of the "grown ups" leaving completely trashed areas, and last night I saw a "frat site" where the kids were picking up the trash and putting it bags even though the provided cans were full.

Kriby Smith was full just after noon. The hay field was 85% at around 3:30. A majority of the tailgaters are there well before the other fans and took the spaces along Chimes and the close spots in the K. Smith lot early. If you are willing to spend the 40$, I was not on principle alone, you could have gotten a parking spot all the way to game time because there were a lot of empty spaces except that the school shut down their operation at 3:00 and blocked the road. I chatted up the officer at the intersection he said that they were told nothing by the school other than to block the road and that yes he knew there was still a lot of available parking and that we should complain to the school.

I had $40 I was ready and willing to pay to park in my old spot. The early shut-off time was an unexpected development. They need to either keep it open until it's actually full, or they will continue to lose out on all the revenue that the plethora of empty spots reflected.

I do, so why don't you STFU.

I didn't say that. I said I tried to break the cycle with them that causes Louisiana to have the worst road-side litter problem in the entire country.

That's fair. I should be clearer that it is the Greeks that are partying near us on the Parade Grounds.

I have no trouble believing that-I saw what Lot 11 and other areas looked like in Dallas last week. Deplorable. My point was, the likelihood of most of the trash is being generated by those not paying the new parking fee, which ostensibly is being imposed for litter cleanup.

Sometimes you call someone out and lose.

And my point is that there will be a few knuckleheads inside each organization that can make the rest of the group look bad. There are mostly respectful kids in each group.
Also, if you got 100 students from any particular group on campus together for a tailgate (the whole swim team/track team/fishing club, etc.) it is going to be the same thing.
