Coworker that ran the 100 at the olympic trials this year worked with him in high school, said he had the fastest first 5 to 10 steps he had ever seen.
I think Miles is concerned about a repeat of what happened with JL. I belive that he blames himself for having to put an unprepared kid out there and set his progress back by having them abused by the type of defenses we face in the SEC.

Did anyone here actually watch the video. All he said was that the most effective place to hit a line drive is right back down the pitchers throat because they are the weakest fielder and that working on your timing and driving with your legs keeps the ball up the middle and lower so you can get on base.
The best part of the Baton Rouge Zoo is the Relm of the Tiger exhibit near the entrance. Mike has all the company he might ever need, he just keeps them across town.

re: Wing needs to Drop Kick

Fair catch the other teams punt and you can kick a field goal uncontested off of a tee I believe it is legal in high school and NFL. Not sure if it is still legal in college.

Drop kick would be fun but i don't think wing would have any better range than our place kicker so it wouldn't make any since to do it.
Saw a keg at a UGA game brought in with band gear. Cops didn't spot it until half time.
In the end this will not improve services on campus. It will not be spent to improve facilities. It will maintain th status quo so the university can spend money elsewhere Tailgaters that left will come back or be replaced by others. I got to campus at 5:30 for NW so I could help my buddy start cooking breakfast, good luck getting a closer free spot than me. My wife and kids will park downtown and take the bus in. LSU did not think through the logistics as well as they might have and could make more money with less agrivation if they wanted to. I would pay to park if I got a reserved spot on the north side or got points towards my tickets. As it is the only people this impacts are those who want to tailgate late and don't want to pay. If you have the 40 show up as late as you want there will probably be a spit for you.
We lost 40% of the groups directly adjacent to us. The majority of the rest simply parked on Chimes, Kirby Smith, or behind the Law School and walked the block and a Half to the Indan Mounds, Quad, or Parade Grounds as the case may be. The folks that are out luck are those that expect to get to campus at noon and be able to park in Kirby Smith at all or in the first 3/4's of the Hay field. The parking lot at Thomas Boyd Hall had 20 cars parked in it when they shut down the pay parking at 3:00. Anyone that is serious about getting out there and having a good time get there at six and you wont have anything to worry about.
Kriby Smith was full just after noon. The hay field was 85% at around 3:30. A majority of the tailgaters are there well before the other fans and took the spaces along Chimes and the close spots in the K. Smith lot early. If you are willing to spend the 40$, I was not on principle alone, you could have gotten a parking spot all the way to game time because there were a lot of empty spaces except that the school shut down their operation at 3:00 and blocked the road. I chatted up the officer at the intersection he said that they were told nothing by the school other than to block the road and that yes he knew there was still a lot of available parking and that we should complain to the school.
wasn't that an admin decision last year that forced the Greeks to no longer party at their houses. The first game they were at the parade grounds was disgusting last year.
Of the ten that traditionally (5 years +) party near us we lost four today. Maybe they will be back maybe not.

The bigger issue is that T Boyd hall parking lot was 3/4 empty when they decided the game day parking area was full and started turning people away at 3:00 you can see the f'ing parking lot from where they were collecting their toll. I had to walk to river road to catch up with family that didn't know their way around campus.
