He’s not a convicted felon because of those conversations you moron. He’s a convicted felon because he committed wire fraud. Not all of the conversations on the wire taps had to do with the crimes he committed. God you’re stupid.

I made it all up. There are no FBI wiretap tapes with the LSU basketball coach talking to a convicted felon - Chris Dawkins. Chris Dawkins was not convicted in a federal court of law. There is no wrongdoing what-so-ever. I even made up the transcripts of the FBI recordings that were read in a federal court (again made up by Tiger Ree).
This whole thing is Tiger Ree's doing. If not for "the Ree" Will Wade would still be on the sidelines, recruiting and leading the LSU program.
There are NO FBI recordings. The one about Smart's mother getting a bigger share than the handler, Smart getting more than the NBA league minimum and the FSU player being funded by Will Wade were all fabricated by Tiger Ree.
Everything is now over. I can't wait to read my name in the national new media headlines. I just hope I don't have to do jail time. If I do, I hope I get one of those federal prisons where I get to work on my golf and tennis games.
So sorry that I caused all of this.
Will Wade deserves credit for what he has been through and not the bad national recognition he has received. He did absolutely nothing to be involved in all of this. NOTHING!!!

Aleva should have requested a meeting one on one with Wade to understand exactly what the issues were and what he and LSU were faced with before he called in the NCAA and school attorneys
. He probably would have gotten that meeting and could have then made a decision how to proceed. He is a coward leader for LSU Sports and the BOD needs to recognize that and get rid of this guy. He thru Wade under the bus from the get go without understanding the true facts. He felt he needed someone to hold his hand while he addressed the issue namely the NCAA.

So he was paying his bills through a scheme of wire fraud and got busted. Had nothing to do with steering certain recruits to certain schools while getting kickbacks from the shoe company he worked for. Nope?

You should read your own LINK. The entire FBI case is predicated on recruiting violations under NCAA rules. Paying the recruits a NCAA violation made the players ineligble to receive scholarships, a fact know by these coaches. By not informing their universities of this they were defrauding the schools. The simple act of doing it over the phone makes it wire fraud.
"in siding with prosecutors, the jury embraced the government’s theory that, by paying the families of five top recruits amounts ranging from $2,500 to $90,000, in violation of NCAA rules, the men defrauded Louisville, Kansas and North Carolina State. The schools would not have awarded scholarships to those recruits if they had known about the illicit payments, prosecutors argued, and now face possible NCAA sanctions and financial penalties as a result."

You are very uninformed. LSU did exactly what they were supposed to do. They did what they are contractually REQUIRED to do (with the NCAA). FKing is REQUIRED to be involved because the NCAA holds university presidents accountable for rule infractions.
This meeting (scheduled for tomorrow) just confirms that WW screwed this up by refusing to attend a meeting HE WAS CONTRACTUALLY REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

Nah brah. It is everyone else's fault. But not Coach Wade's. He was caught on an FBI recording with a convicted felon who was convicted for steering players to schools for money. But that was an accident and Wade did nothing wrong.

WW did handle it badly. He should not have been discussing paying players on the mother frickin phone! That kinda started it all. When JA ask him to to come in to discuss he said no. Left LSU with no real options. And I hate the shite out of Aleva and King but WW created the problem.

How many University Presidents have got themselves in trouble when their Athletic Depts. screw up? If you look back on all the schools that have been in serious trouble with the NCAA and placed on probation or worse, how many Presidents were canned ?--ZERO. Did the SMU president lose his/her job when they laid the death penalty on them ?
