agreed...you never felt that the game was out of reach when he was on the field. he could swing the momentum of a game in a heartbeat.

Phenom. Complete freak.

Assuming constants in other key areas, I pray that we get another TM in my lifetime.

He singlehandedly changed the momentum of the game several times for us in 2011 with his special teams play.

The forced fumble td against oregon.
The tipped int against wvu.
The punt return td against arkansas
The punt return td against georgia

The dude was a GAMECHANGER

TM7 was good but I had more confidence in Chad Jones

If he would have played in 2012 instead of getting kicked off the team, LSU would have won a national championship. We would have beaten Bama and then UGA and Notre Dame.

Chad Jones

Chad Jones was an excellent player, but he was not in Mathieu’s class. Were you kidding? Maybe referring only to punt returns?

My favorite is probably LF7, but hard to compare. Both made games incredibly exciting. TM7 was inspiring st whet he accomplished given his size.

Greatest pure football player I’ve ever seen in college. When you can turn the game around on defense.. multiple times.. special. He had it all

Got-damn! I never get tired of seeing that reel. Most impactful DB I’ve ever seen. Most instinctive player I’ve ever seen. GOAT.

Never seen a defensive player that was that much of a difference maker in my entire life. He goes to show that a small dude can be the face of a team and absolutely dominate. I hope he can get back to form next year and dominate again.
