Worked a 12 hour shift at the hospital Thursday night and left around 10 AM yesterday with the wife and our 6 y/o. Straight shot drive. Only 4 stops. Kid was a warrior on the way. Lol. Made it to our hotel around 12:45 this morning. At the early bird now. I’ve seen a ton of LSU fans so far this morning! Can’t wait for tonight! Section 124!

Stopped in Springfield as well to sleep. Making a pit stop at Joes in KC for an early lunch and then coming in hot!!

After the tanks homerun my seven year old son asked if we could go to championship game. Easiest yes I’ve ever had for him. We pulled into Omaha Around 10 last night. Just gotta find some tickets now

5am flight from MSY to Denver this morning. Denver to Omaha flight mid morning. Many tiger fans aboard.

Chillin in the hotel now. Flew into Des Moines last night, got a hotel near the airport, and gonna drive over this morning.

That’s awesome man! My son asked if we could go to Omaha, I said only if they make it to the finals.. when Tommy White hit that bomb I knew then I was in for an expensive plane ticket!
So worth it, got my boy with me going to Omaha. This is my first time as well! This is a dream come true for me. I was his age during our 90s run.
Just got to Des Moines, will know if they gave my car away and if we will be hitch hiking to Omaha.

They still had cars at Des Moines, we are on our way…influx of returned cars. Car smells like musty demon decon tears.

I hope everyone has a safe trip over and a great time celebrating after we win it all.
Uncle and I had plans to fly in, but a medical situation and roof damage from the storm derailed those plans!
