Like Brenda Lee, Aggies are coming on strong in the 2nd half of the season. Just two weekends of outstanding play have transformed a below-average 1 and 8 club into a club-wielding bashi-bazouk. And they have swag, and confidence, something LSU is sorely lacking.

You know, baseball is full of times when players get things in their head and just have a hard time getting out of it. Younger kids might have the yips in throwing to first base. Numerous things in batting.
Seems to me, before this series Jones had fixed his habit of swinging at high pitches. When Auburn saw him swinging at high pitches in the first game of this series they knew they had him. Its a mental thing and he has to work back out of it.

Still on track at 12-6, but you’ve got 2 of the Top 5 teams coming in, plus dangerous road trips to an awakening Aggie and a SC team that will be motivated for their coach to have a good showing.
I will be very happy with 6-6 the rest of the way.
Still does not feel like an Omaha team. Hot and cold running hitting. Still no Sunday starter. Feels like another 2 & a Q in a Super.
