It may be hard to blitz Mathieu when he is busy locking down half the field and being a beast in runs upport. He'd just make plays on the outside if that's where he lands.
More than likely Tharold Simon takes over the outside and TM will get his chances to make plays behind the LOS like this year.
What a ridiculous thread.

I just dont see how his production doesnt fall off.
Some people said the same thing about him after last season. Look how that turned out.
Please ban this fool.

WTF? The kid has a nose for the ball and is put in the position to utilize his unique skills. He's a beast and will continue to be. You do not know football, OBVIOUSLY.

Jenkins is gonna be another badass so it is possible that he could be on the outside with Simon in nickel situations. Though if Mathieu has to stay outside he is more than capable. Flame on dude.

take PP7. Even if he is as good as he was, Peterson NEVER had the season TM7 had, because teams didnt throw his way at all. So either way, how is his production going to remain as high?

you have to admit that Tyrann had quiet games against teams that are power formation teams and keep LSU out of the 4-2-5 defense, like the Auburn game.

whoa now, dont throw out accusations like that, or you are an idiot and a troll!!! I just dont see how his production doesnt fall off. Shame, this was probably his best and only attempt at the Heisman
Hey numb nuts, TM7 was suspended for the Auburn game.
Proof that you are a troll and not even an LSU fan.

BTW, Simon is already outside. Is he going to play both corners? STFU with THAT logic
Posted on 12/14/11 at 7:28 pm to wildtigercat93

Posted on 12/14/11 at 7:29 pm to RATeamWannabe

Posted on 12/14/11 at 7:31 pm to wildtigercat93

As a serious response to what I'm almost certain is you just fricking with everyone:
Simon will be on the outside. Mathieu will begin the season on the outside while Jenkins and Collins get eased in to the rotation. Vinson may play there early in the season as well to get Mathieu back into his play-making spot.
He can cover, his size does limit him some, but I think he's going to be a little more savvy than he was as a freshman when Justin Hunter got the better of him mainly due to size.

and will probably move to the outside next year.
And what happened when he moved outside THIS YEAR??? I think it helped him.

Then he will be too small to compete against SEC level receivers
Do you think LES really cares??? He IS a playmaker. He will do the same next year and at the next level. FACE IT, Some guys just have a nose for the ball.

You watched a different game. He got beat a few times but was hardly made anyone's "bitch."
