I was super nervous when they gave the ball to him every time and the way he trucked Battle. That one gonna go down in the history book. Another tiger also got truck toward the end on a punt return. Also, was it be or did it seem UGA defense tackle really well. They can knock our RB off course or change their direction.

I can't get over the fact that almost every weapon they had....they didn't use.

We made adjustments that shut him down some, but he is good.

I was shocked they didn’t give him the ball more. That guy was hard to bring down. Seemed like he picked up at least 8 yards every time he touched it.

He had 7 carries for 56 yards - 8 yards per.

Just rewatched the game.

Not sure what UGA’s game plan was, but I hope Bama steals it.

That was a great run, but 36-16 is going in the history book and the run will mostly be forgotten (even though it was awesome).

And LSU ran for 270 yards on UGA and averaged 5+ ypc, so they obviously didn't knock LSU RBs (or even Burrow) off course very much at all.

UGA likes to do a few things -

1. Run the ball
2. Hit some easy throws
3. When one of the two above are working, run some PA deep passing patterns to really hurt you.

When we weren't stopping the run on the second series, Aranda started baiting UGA. We showed a lot of blitz and press looks, which made UGA look to their PA deep passing game, thinking it would be open. They just gashed us on the run, so why wouldn't we be concerned with it. We then dropped back into deep zone (even Gary mentioned it a few times on TV) and had their options covered. It confused the heck out of Fromm (he referred to it as a one hit wonder because we haven't shown it much before) caused them to not run the ball as much as they should have, and took away what was working. They outsmarted themselves based upon our honeypot bait.

Trying to tackle above the belt just doesn't get the job done. He was able to utilize his legs, along with his teammates pushing the pile upfield. If someone would slide down and wrap up his legs, he would be stopped right there..
