Just got back to the hotel from the game. Bauer threw at least 20-30 pitches in the bullpen between every inning. Even during the media delays he would throw to his infielders.

The guy was electric tonight.

Thank God he didn't get a shut out!!! Although he threw a good game he acted like a cocky little BASTARD between innings. What a jerk/Hot dog he was. He will NEVER pitch in the majors.

How did he act like a jerk? He put his head down and walked to the dugout after every inning.

Stop being a douche and give the guy the credit he earned

Yeah, it is a good thing the MLB imposed that jerk ban. I hate to see assholes playing professional sports.

You mean kind of like Ranaudo does chest bumps after every inning when he gets on a roll, and let's not forget Chad jones from last year...but wait they play for us, so it doesn't matter. FTR I don't have a problem with it at all, just don't call out other players on something ours do too.

Nope. He did that in the last couple, but prior to that he was very cocky coming off the mound. Now, I dont have a problem with it, because our guys do it and I like to see the fire. He did not do what you are saying every inning though.

Any word on how fast his pitches were clocked at on radar. From the stands it looked like he was throwing smoke.

This thread befuddles me.
The kid pitches a flawless game, at home, against the defending national champion and some of you want to minimize his achievement or call the kid out ?
It's called competition.

I haven't seen such a dominant pitching performance against LSU since Jungmann last year.

hope smash williams and 1981 dont attend very many games, you guys are the types that give LSU fans bad names. read the banner outside Alex Box, it says BEST BASEBALL FANS in the country. be a baseball fan and give the kid a standing ovation for the performance of a lifetime in a key postseason game. or shut your mouth about baseball, since you are ignorant, and wait for the rest of the tards to come out of the woodwork during football season
