Wow, I grew up on LC and Scooter is about my age, maybe a little younger. I've been reading him since he started at the Am Press. I've lived in Texas for the last 27 years and I still read most of what Scooter writes, either online or from columns my Mom saves for me.

He is the dean of sports writers in Louisiana and one of the best sports writers in college football. His satire is extremely funny and is mostly written from the point of view of the extreme fan.

If you can't enjoy his satirical columns, you are way too uptight. By the way, I am a Miles supporter, a Lee supporter and an LSU supporter. I thought the column was very funny.

Read the article.

That's the point he is making.

An LSU fan writing an article worthy of BleacherReport does not make JL a superstar. I am a huge Lee fan and hope he is able to have a career or at least a stint in the NFL but some people are getting out of hand.

I am not sure you caught the sarcasm of his article.

Exactly, but in today's world where everyon;e feelings count, hard to write satire because so many miss it. Ironic that the rantards it is aimed at it are the most likely to miss it.

Thats why you only read about Lee on the Rant, right? Not in newspapers like in Lake Charles, Tucson, L.A., etc. All those cities are full of rantards, I guess?

RobbBobb is Lee-sessed. It's unreal how much he puts one ex player above the program and uses the ex player to try and shite on lsu.

You must have skimmed over these parts
quote:

It took fired Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt to get Lee into the first all-star game

even a poor coach saw what Miles couldnt
quote:

It was out in Arizona somewhere, and the Tucson Citizen reported that “quarterback Jarrett Lee of LSU looked the most pro ready.

Ouch.

As the backup quarterback who Les Miles stubbornly wouldn’t play,

an adjective specifically chosen by the writer
quote:

All week leading up to BCS title game, he heard that he was very much a part of the Tigers’ game plan for Alabama. Coaches, including Miles, went out of their way to include him in the conversation, even when the media questions did not.

We all know how that turned out.

The "backup" QB is always the most popular player on the team.

It's a thread about Lee.

And you Roaad, and Dunson are not expecting people to say positive things about him? Man the butthurt is strong with you.

WE GET IT. You have poor judgement when it comes to football talent. Quit trying to perscute Lee, for your lack of common sense.

YOU WERE WRONG. WE will never forget how wrong you were. Now go email you buddies so they can come in this thread and degrade Lee

You guys are pitiful. Seriously

What am i saying that is wrong or degrading lee? I never have. But people like you continue to lie about why I have said.

The reality is that many of you can not handle that others don't put one player above the program.

Also apparently it pisses you and your ilk off that people actually enjoy the success of this lsu team and take issue with the incessant coach bashing that goes on here.

Didn't read and I am a fan of Lee. However, once he gets hits hard one time, he loses his composure and plays scared the rest of the game. See Alabama this yr. He was scared shitless after he took a shot from Hightower.
