No one that plays anywhere close to the defense he does behind the plate. And that is way more important than his average.

It is funny because yesterday some knowledgeable posters were discussing this and specifically posted this. and then laughed "because you know there are idiots that are going to bitch about average without knowing how hard it is to get a guy to play great D behind the plate"

I feel as though we will not see a change as long as team avg. is as high as it is. Dude is very good behind the plate. Plus basic baseball bro need outs befor you can get a chance to bat!

When is it time to make a change at catcher. Ross has given his all but just can't hit. Do we have anyone else.

You obviously don't understand baseball. The catcher is a very important piece to any defense and we have a good one. His defense more than makes up for his hitting so it doesn't really matter. As long as we can get a few timely hits out of him it doesn't matter. No one else on our team is as good behind the plate as Ross.

I guess he figures any pitcher could easily hit above .200.

Hol-e-shite. When his ob% drops below .150 we can start this concersation. For now his defense more than makes up for his lack of offense.

10/10 if this is a troll.

in which case there would be no DH. you cannot DH and play a position as the same time. that's what you call impossible.
