I don’t wanna knock any of the kids so I’ll just say I prefer the other 2 catchers to McManus.

Just like in 2008!

Wait who was the “first round pitcher” that year?

I think the Taylor kid from Florence, AL will be a stud and may have the ability to be a weekend starter. He's a freshman and needs the reps.

Experience and good outings will help. We may get there this year. I'm more concerned with errors.

I don't think this team is going to have to worry about winning in Omaha.

Or 1986/7. Had 4 or 5 MLB arms on that team plus Joey Belle and Faulkner (Yankees starting catcher, plus a few other MLB starters). Didn't win it all.

Let’s just worry about winning more than one SEC game a weekend before we start worrying about Omaha.

Everyday the takes get worse. Did you watch the college World Series last year? If it weren’t for covid rules NC State would’ve won with no draft picks in the first two rounds..

Vandy didn't win it all. And they had two 1st round pitchers. They lost the last 2 games of the year in the CWS with those 2 pitchers.
