Somebody please inform me... That's all the Auburn fans could think of to say to us all weekend, even after someone admitted they had no idea what it meant.

LSU from 1931 to 1963 had the preminent Corndog Farm in America.
People remember that shite...

are you asking what it is referencing, or are you making fun of the Aubies for not knowing? just asking.

Search the net for "Nebraska fans corndogs".

The Nebraska thing.
Plus, we are viewed as carnies...you know circus folk...nomads, really...small hands...smell like cabbage...I mean, corndogs.

What? Is there a short explanation?
Posted on 9/22/08 at 11:21 am to LSUCouchCoach
They stole it from Nebraska's rivals. For years, they were called corndogs. In LSU's case, Auburn fans found that tailgating LSU fans smelled like corndogs. Well, since LSU fans fry lots of seafood, there is an odor that resembles a festival or a street fair. Everyone knows that the smell of corndogs are in the air at a fair. Hence, LSU fans became known as Corndogs. Now, other LSU haters have jumped on the corndog bandwagon.

It's not just that. They lifted the entire "short story" and just replaced Nebraska fans with LSU fans.

The LSU student section chanting "Corndog Nation" when we won was priceless.

the best part was the corndog nation chant we started on the way out of the stadium and the auburn fans telling us that we had no class
