I understand where you’re going with this.
Ultimately, you trivialize the great American melting pot. Because America took so many in from varying origins, it nullified any chance at a cohesive identity. You could make more accurate comparisons with the Latino, Jewish, etc groups. So, instead of WET, we could say JET or the existing variety of Hispanic TV networks……I get it.
