There is really no reason for people making personal attacks. My opinion is that I supported her when she was playing for LSU. Since then, let's just say I haven't been a fan of her behavior. I won't trash her, but I can't support her either. Conversely, look at what Shaq has done since he left LSU. He is the gold standard for an alumnus. A great ambassador everyone can be proud of.

Lol I’ve learned all of this. Did I say Europeans have never encountered oppression? Shoot even the word slave comes from Slav! My point is the US white population is not one of those single ethnic groups. If we were all Irish, it’d be different. If we were all Spanish descent, like in Latin America, it’d be different. Or even all French descent like in Quebec or even here is South Louisiana. But we’re not. I think all of those histories of individual groups gets a bit watered down and the ethnic identities mushed together in a way that makes it to where White American culture does not resemble one single coherent ethnic group.
Also a lot of those things happened centuries or millennia ago. Brits really don’t have the Scandinavian raids of 900AD burned into their national conscience. The Greco-Persian was 400 years before Jesus. Meanwhile we are friends with people who’s grandparents weren’t allowed to vote. That’s way more recent and gonna make for a stronger collective ethnic identity
