Why so many people are stuck on the idea that Hilton can is the make or break piece for LSU being a playoff team last year and this year remains one of the greatest mysteries

It’s no mystery, there’s a lot of very stupid people that post here and have no hesitation to write anything regardless of truth or accuracy.

I don’t understand why so many people beg for this dude and act like he is so good. He had horrible drop issues all last season and the one time he had the ball this season he fumbled. Meanwhile Brown, Thomas, and Anderson have been very productive. Speed does not automatically equate to WR success. Some of the fast combine runners have been shite NFL WRs.

Drops was not his issues. It was getting the timing down with Nuss and not leaving his feet too early. Tendencies are a big thing. The receiver rotation needs to be cleaned up with the elimination of placing Zavion at the X or Z. Barion, Chris, and Nic anderson should be the only receivers who line up outside. If Destyn Hill comes back able to play then he could line up outside but placing Zavion there makes the offense very predicatable.

It sure wouldn't hurt to have him perform up to his potential.

He’s at best our 4th/5th wr

He’s fast. Thats it. Not a possession guy and still tries to jump for everything.

Guys, Clemson played double saftey's high all game against LSU. We couldn't throw the deep pass against them. They were begging us too. Luckily Nuss didn't fall for it.

The one time they didn't go two over the top safetys' was the deep ball to Barrion Brown for the TD.

they never allowed that again.

La tech used the same defense 3-3-5 defense.

If you can run the ball or hit more of the intermidiate throws especially over the middle , then opposing team has to bring down a saftey to help out. thats when you will see the ball throw to Hitlon and Brown deep.

Your Welcome. !

Hilton fumbled and caused 2 penalties with so many drops last year.
