I always expected him to be a decent reliever and possible Sunday starter at some point, but this dude really has gone above and beyond expectations. Gonna be one of my favorite tigers ever after this season.

If it wasn’t for the passed ball on the SO vs Ole Miss last week, we start the weekend with a W and things go differently and Hilliard continues his 2+ year unbeaten streak.
The same thing happened vs Arkansas where unearned runs cost us a victory in the series opener where we eventually got swept.

You watch him pitch and you don’t think it’s special and there are dudes on base all the time then next thing you know they are in the sixth inning and only have one or two runs.

He is up there with Lane Mestepey for all time favorites for me. Dude doesn't have great stuff, but he just out there and competes with guys with much more talent, and usually finds a way to come out on top. It is remarkable.

Not at all. I didn’t say he’s the best ever, but definitely one of my favorites.
