Satterwhite graded a 52.7 in run blocking and 46.7 pass blocking. Bordelon struggled again in pass protection at 45.7.
So while Satterwhite wasnt great, Bordelon was also just as bad.

PFF grades don’t always tell the whole story. Especially with lineman.
I thought Satterwhite was serviceable. Especially for being his first start. Pass pro was noticeably cleaner.

Why's it so hard to find a guard that can block somebody?
Satterwhite is more serviceable then Bordelon. Continue to start Satterwhite if he is the best we have. Maybe experience will help him improve.

You didn’t post his run blocking grade. May have been shite, I don’t know, but you didn’t give us the full picture.
And I thought people were kinda overlooking Cooley’s game last night. Dude had a lot more responsibility with Thomas back there instead of Benefield. Had the nice interception. But an absolutely huge sack at a big point in the game on 3rd down that he timed absolutely perfectly. And finished.

Satterwhite will get better the more he plays. Borderline didn’t and that is why he was replaced. Even after 1 game, the numbers show Satterwhite is the better option.
