FWIW, the guy posted something about assistant coaches wanting to bail as well.

Didn't seem appropriate in this thread so I deleted but yes you got the point.

This is one of the things I hate about college athletics. Scholarships are renewable annually, so you can be asked to move on annually. That said, not shocked that Hickey wont be back. More surprised that LSU legacies - Hammink/Morgan won't be back. Plus Morgan being injured and all. If you consider that Jones and Hickey clashed and Hickey was in and out of the doghouse it makes sense. Moving Hickey clears the deck for Gray/Hornsby/Martin/Mickey to assume leadership roles. Quarterman is key because he is the only true wing type player on roster now. Those are my projected starters. think out of Elbert Robinson/Malone/Odo LSU needs two of em to give solid reserve minutes. Tournament or bust.

Yea. There will be a rotation with the three guards, but it will be Gray really doing the moving. He is a combo guard that can play both spots. I'd expect to see 30+ minutes a game from Gray next year so I hope he is ready.

Why wouldn't it be appropriate?

I put together a list of graduating guards who are above 6' tall that weren't committed anywhere (as of yesterday) that could come in and add depth to the guard spots:
Nick Faust 6'6" Maryland
Richaud Pack 6'3" North Carolina A&T
KC Ross Miller 6'1" New Mexico St
Dwight Smith 6'4" Colorado St
Byron Wesley 6'5" USC

Check out the sharpshooting 6'6 Forward from Butler...

Yea I just went for guys who were listed as G, but Im sure there are some Fs that could add some depth for LSU.
I know coach has said that he never stopped recruiting even after we filled the class. So given the right guy I think he could bring someone in.

committed or signed with Mt St Mary Plus I don't think he graduated so he would have to sit a year.

What are their eligibility for next season? Free to transfer and play immediately I assume.
