So Petrino it is.

I could live with it. He made a mistake and he's learned from it. He could do a lot with this talent and a great Defensive Coordinator.

You're going to get down voted anyways, so you just as soon say it.

I assume they think Jimbo is a safer hire based on his experience. Or maybe Jimbo really truly does want the LSU job. Although it seems odd that getting a coach from FSU could be easier than Houston.

The only 60 year old coach that would make sense is Saban
and that isn't happening

We have to think about a 10 year type situation

Briles and petrino, no...I don't see it

If Herman almost took the USCe gig, then LSU is a slam dunk

Why is the board so in love with Jimbo? He has had as much, possibly more talent at FSU than we have had at LSU, is playing in a much weaker conference, and only has one NC to show for it.

Please give me Herman who was the OC of Ohio States NC team and making Houston a playoff contender.

Petrino has a 10 million dollar buyout.

LSU is not paying Miles buyout, paying staff buyout, paying petrino's buyout, and then paying for Petrino's salary.

Just the buyout figures for Miles and his staff and petrino's buyout would be close to $25 mill.

That doesn't even include new coaching salaries.

I hope the dark horse is Bielema...not even kidding. We'd keep that smashmouth, pro-style identity and we'd run it with superior talent. The guy would win big here, just needs a recruiter. He has had Saban on the ropes the past two years.
