we're so predictable, run on 1st down, pick up 2-3 yards, throw on 2nd and 3rd down, it was a problem before Brady came and its still a problem, we need new minds if we wanna consistently compete for NC. I never had faith in these coordinators and quit trying to take the blame off them. we win vs state and Mizzou if we ran zone, and had better playcalling at goaline. they are getting exposed more than anyone rn and we have to fix this next season.

Clyde turned a lot of badly designed and blocked plays into big gains. Think about how many times he would have to spin cycle a free defender at the line.

Clyde is one of the best football players in LSU history. He gets overshadowed by the 2019 team as a whole and Burrow but he always delivered when called upon last year. His best game came against the biggest mountain in College Football and he played consistently all season.

You do realize all they run is a zone/duo concert? Exactly the same as last year.

I was about to say.

It's a zone running scheme.

The line isn't always blocking it up.
I do hate when a team runs on first down all the time
Also, it hurts running out of gun all the time. I know that's the scheme but switch it up sometimes.
Run an end around.
Run a reverse with palmer

We do realize the line play was decent last year because of the talent but not all that great, it had CEH that made guys miss in the backfield a lot last year and made a play so it covered up mistakes, also Burrow was crazy good in the pocket awareness department and also a magician at times getting away from a sack by his legs or scramble.
But this year you have Emory who flashes and DP seems more a downhill runner but they aren’t in the same league of CEH so the mistakes are highlighted and of course Brennan nothing close to awareness in pocket as Burrow so now those Elite players aren’t there.

That and we run slow developing run plays without a player like Clyde to make up for it. Clyde carrier the run game last year.

Y'all act like clyde spun in the backfield every play.
It happened about 5 or 10 times.

The line was def better than this year and had nfl players at every position.

Clyde doesn't have anything to do with what I said.

I'm saying mix up the running. Stop calling the same 3 plays

It was a problem last year and again this yr

The line was much better at run blocking than pass blocking last season imo

CEH definitely was amazing but it’s far beyond just him makingn some big plays out of nothing.

We are just far worse thisnyear.

You’re clouded by the last 2 games with a freshman QB. When Myles was playing, we never ran the ball at all.
