Assistant hires are trickier than a HC move, I think J Bob clearly used his offer for leverage for a big extension to remain pat

Exactly my point. I know nap has connections that are helping him draw conclusions. But if Childress and J Bob are the ones that turned down assistant jobs, I don’t see that as any red flag

Not drawing any conclusions on any coach. I’m open minded to almost any hire. And there are other coaches besides those 2

Gotcha just making conversation. You sounded concerned about coaches turning the jobs down. Are you seeing that as a reflection on Johnson? Thats what I read from your comment. Or are you speculating for conversation as well?

I’m not sure why they are turning it down. It’s not as easy to hire as people think it is

Id be shocked if theriot or cannizaro got that job. Not sure who it is though. Sounds like we are gonna have 3 active recruiters on staff though, thats exciting
