Except for the fact that what he says influences millions of opinions, including those of the committee. To say his opinion means nothing is just dumb.
The only ranking that matters is the selection committee ranking AFTER ALL OF THE REGULAR SEASON GAMES ARE PLAYED and we still have 4 or possibly 5 games left.

Are you really comparing beating Arkansas to beating Auburn? Lol... Arkansas is a small notch above a high school team right now.. Alabama’s could play nothing but walk ons and still win that game.

Considering we had a tough game against a quality #9 opponent and OSU throttled #12? Wisconsin, the drop by Herbie doesn't surprise me.

From a neutral perspective we didn’t look like the number 1 team in the country yesterday but it doesn’t matter. Just beat Bama and win out and everything will fall into place.

I think the team was making sure they had a run game to go into Alabama game, that's all. Bama game has been a battle of run game for many years.
A bit too aggressive on the Punt Return...mistake made.
Two 4 & 1 with run plays that didn't turn out. Lots of other 3rd down conversions with a run called when a pass would had worked.
Burrow and company know they can pass their way to a score, but then time of possession is too short, and the defense runs down. I feel very confident yesterday was about making sure the offense stays on the field long enough to control the clock.

We were winning with style points earlier in the year. Last couple of games.....not so much. If we keep winning, “style points” won’t matter.
