I went back and looked at all of my posts today and didn't find any lies. My first post was supposed to be sarcastiuc and show how "BUYING FILM" could be construed as wrong.

ESPN are the bag guys here, but you are not the only one to react to my posts this way so I must have been somewhat misleading. Mea culpa!

I hear they are coming out with their own frozen food line too. Guess they are trying to diversify.

Those might taste delicious with LSU's new beer.

Here's your lie:

What they are insinuating is that we gave Lyles $6000 to bring Seastrunk and his mother on an unofficial visit to LSU and he gave us some worthless DVDs to cover the tracks.

Um, Seastrunk was a 2010 recruit. We paid Willy $6,000 the following year for film on Mettenberger and Denham.

Would Jeremy Foley or Pat Haden come out that publicly?

They are AD's....Herb is not.

D'oh! Good point.

But I still wonder if their SID's were come out like that.

this count Kelly Naqi has a FB account according to ESPN, we should all message her what we think about her article. IF LSU was worried, do you think they'd supply her with the videos she deems as worthless? what a count bitch.

Woah, nelly! Before you go posting any other stupid shite, take a breath. LSU had to supply the videos via a PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST! By law, they had to give ESPN the information. She is a count bitch, but not for the reason you stated.

FYI, don't make yourself, but more importantly, us, look like trash by cursing her out on her FB page. Go workout meathead.

...not to mention, of course some of the video quality is going to be low, we're talking about some low budget high schools. And there were 32 freaking DVDs, but no mention of how much of the footage out of the 32 DVDs was low quality. This is one of the most sensational articles I've seen ESPN put out there.

Is ESPN going to look at every school that has purchased videos from recruiting services and judge the quality and if any of the players shown had committed to other schools??? Bama spent over $200,000 and Auburn $100,000 on these videos. They bought videos from Elite Scouting Services when Lyles still worked for them. Surely, ESPN's journalistic integrity will insure thoroughness.

Bama & Auburn purchases

ESPN can no longer be considered and unbiased media for sports. Said it before and I'll say it again. They have a vested interested in all things Texas. They are in the pocket of Texas and it is no longer surprising that they would do anything they can to hurt any program that stands between Texas and success. So any top program is going to be a target. Especially the SEC.

They suspended one of their best reporters for writing a book with Leach. Simply because the book was critical of espn and some of their employees. That's not something the news does.

Go look at what the e-mails that Leach's legal team got out of Texas Tech's PR firm.

They were purposefully leaking info, and purposefully leaking it to none other than ESPN's Joe Schad.

He comes out looking like a total worm, and a pawn in the politics of personal destruction of a high level BCS AQ school head coach.

I'm gonna read the book no doubt. I assume all of that stuff is in there.

Everyone used to rip on trev Alberts but the worms they've got working there writing and tweeting are 1000x worse.

The outside the lines fricks and schad are living vomit.

riiight. maybe he should update his myspace page with messages about ESPN.

In that position, he 9and other tweeters) should not stoop so low to acknowledge ESPN's tabloid like reporting, at least not in that manner

Wait, maybe I'm confused on who you're talking about.

Are you referring to Herb Vincent, or someone else?

Herb Vincent

quote:

Herb Vincent serves in the dual position of Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs in the athletic department and Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations. He was appointed Senior Associate AD in May of 2006 and assumed the additional duties of oversight of University Relations in August of 2009

You blind dolt.

The NEXT sentence:

quote:

Vincent manages communications and serves as the primary public relations officer for the University and all its entities.

But yeah, who is he to speak for the athletic department...

I'd say he can tweet about anything pertaining to LSU relations.
