All we know for sure is that the LSU AD (or any other school) can't test TM for a year. If he's a student in good standing he can take the fall off to chill with his favorite things, go to counseling, go on a mission - whatever. Then re-register in the spring and walk on. LSU - Alabama - USC - wherever. He might be good enough to make it. Even get a scholly. If not go NFL. Would anyone here not be his agent?

Sounds like a plan.

if LSU won't let an FCS talk to TM, that has to mean something. Either they're trying to see if he wants to stay and work things out afte a year's suspension or there's an ncaa eligibility issue that's being covered up. Either way that sounds pretty suspicious

Like I said earlier, I tweet GG to check out Herb for more detailed info. He recently tweeted:

@LSUherbvin That is correct.

he met with mcneese though, which propelled him to consider the 1 yr suspension option

I haven't kept up with these threads all day, but has anyone speculated that maybe this was an option that the school presented to Tyrann at first and he balked, but has now reconsidered?

if he wanted to come back to LSU he would have to agree to being tested. they aren't going to let him roam free for half a year.

I am simply stating what Miles stated. People were repeatedly stating that Miles did not say or agree to the question that it was permanent.

K. Didn't know if this is something he came up with all of the sudden, and everyone involved is like "where in the world did this come from?"

It was permanent with Mathieu not wanting to accept a one year suspension.

Mathieu changed his mind and is allowed to attend LSU according to Vincent.

Care to troll some more you stupid frick?

Guilbeau is worthless. He's a prime example of why the press is dying. No regard for truth, only sensationalism to get people reading/watching.

I can't help but think there is a bigger meaning behind all this. Almost a paradigm shift. His swag was off the charts, in some regards he may be considered a liability (re: the coaches). Maybe the team was getting out of control and they are doing everything they can to prevent a fiasco like last year. Maybe sacrifice the lamb to save the heard?

We have no idea what is going on in regards to off field issues and such. Another shady situation would look even worse. The timing of this (begining of fall camp), points to something along these lines.

But I still want him back

But the coaches know better and I believe they have enough faith in the talent behind him to make up for it (mostly).

I dont care anymore. Let's play ball already!

Miles also said he couldn't see him wanting to stay at LSU and not go play somewhere this year. At least one player also said as far as he knew Mathieu's plan was to play somewhere this year then "give it a shot at the next level".

It is becoming obvious he was on step 3 of the program.
