Definitely not true

I’m a big sweater…summers in downtown Houston are 80s, 88% humidity, and low 90s heat index at 6:00am. I sweat more yesterday morning in the Woodlands than I did all summer. Shoes were squishy after 6 miles.

Surprised it hadn't been mentioned. NOAA and the national weather service took a staffing hit under DOGE last year and lost 17% of their staff. There were claims from NOAA that it was going to affect the accuracy of their forecasts.
I was waiting for someone to bring this up and blame it on DOGE/Trump.

They just missed the forecast. Plain and Simple.

ETA: Also, if we’re talking about missed “accuracy”…why is it they always miss by predicting worse weather? Have we ever seen meteorologists tell us we’re going to have a wonderful day and then the sky drops? That’s when I would blame DOGE cuts.
