Headphones in Tiger Stadium during game

Wife bought me some AirPods for the games in Tiger Stadium. I’ve always used headphones listening to a live broadcast with no problems with delays. It provides an added dimension to watching the game ! When trying the AirPods with a streaming broadcast on the iPhone during the game, I notice a delay in the live action . Anyone know what’s going on here and if there is a solution ? Thanks

Air pods have zero noise canceling so you probably won't be able to hear anything except maybe on full blast

The pros have noise cancelling. Not sure how they'd work in a stadium though

Have the Pros and they work great with the cancelling feature on but the delay is the killer !

Go back to earphones and a small FM radio. No delay at all. Streaming is what is killing you.

You almost got it right. Get a cheap android burner cell phone with Bluetooth. Plenty of new old models available cheap. Cut headphone off of wires and use wires and plug in phone as antenna. let wires hang out pocket. Most android phone have fm chip to pick up fm signal. Sync pods with phone. This is how I listen to the Eagle before, during and after game.
