This place will blow a gasket if any of the four QBs who originally committed here have marginal success.

I don't know abt him being the most polished, he kinda had a careless Brett Favre sling shot release goin on in the spring game.

[quote]He didn't really care for Louisiana, I had class with him and I asked him what he was doing for Mardi Gras, he was like I'm goin home and go to my dad's beach house I'm not staying here. Cali sunshine kid with a rich pops. Also said he wasn't worried abt the NFL he said he'd probably work for his dad's business. Nice dude and all but I feel like he wasn't really worried abt football that much. Not saying he didn't want to play but he just wasn't as hungry

We're one freak injury from being screwed again at the QB postion! Let's just state the facts Harris and Jennings might be more athletic, but Rettig was never given a fair chance. He was coming off a knee surgery last year this year he's a 100 percent and every time Mile's talked to the media 95 percent of the time it was about Harris and Jennings. I'm sure he wasn't feeling the love, no matter how good he did he was never going to get a fair shot. The coaches mind was already made up. Good luck to the kid and I hope he doesn't transfer to a SEC west team and give us a

Orrrrrrrrrr he got passed on the depth chart by someone in his class and a kid a grade below him.

Please explain in detail how he wasn't given a fair shot.

This is one of the reasons why I don't keep up with recruiting. All the praise and hype and sometimes these kids never even see the field.

I was excited about his commitment up until I saw him play in the Army game and he was horrendous.

I think he saw the future, and he had little chance to see the field. Could he have cut it in the SEC? Guess we will never know, but I wish him well in the future.

I personally think he's making a mistake. He was beat out by two QBs who are really yet to prove themselves. So my advice would have been to remain patient and wait for the chips to fall where they may. Also, if you can't start for LSU, then the likelihood of starting at a comaparble school are low. Playing lesser competition isn't the way to get ahead in life.

Explain how he was. Last year Mett was the guy Rettig coming off a knee injury still getting his legs back in football shape so yea Jennings beat Rivers for the number 2 spot, but this year we have Harris totally understand that the kids awesome has more upside than both of them, but after watching the bowl game and spring game Jennings has no pocket awareness. After watching every video, highlight , spring game everything I could find to watch I just don't see how Jennings is a better option to me Rettig looked better passing the ball. Please Don't turn this to a black or white thing, I just hate seeing a good QB leave our team, when I don't think he was giving the same chances as the other two

Kid never was given a chance. Not sure if Harris or Jennings have the ability to read defenses.

But through some magical reason you're sure Rettig can.
