By all accounts, it seems like Jacobion Guillory & Gio Paez are the top 2 at DT

You’d have said the same about Damien Lewis starting on the offensive line in 2019. But he was an absolute stud.

You know Bo Davis is their coach right? I feel fine about our defense

Well that’s not good. We really needed those young guys to step up big this year because the experience on the interior line won’t be very good it doesn’t sound like. Was hoping McKinley and Reliford would be early bloomers. Oh well.

Probably won’t play many meaningful snaps barring a couple of injuries.
He may be running there, but I would still expect to see him play a few snaps in SEC games once we get into the season. Bo Davis likes to rotate a lot. The 247 and On3 podcasts have both mentioned this and that a few guys lower in the rotation will still see a handful of snaps per game to spell the top 3-4.

Because he was one of the best DL in HS last year
Ehhh, according to recruiting services.
I saw a few games of his and while he is an impressive kid, he took a lot of plays off and did not dominate. I am by no means an expert and Im not saying he isn't ready for the SEC or that he is going to be a bust, just that imo he was a little overrated.

I was a little worried about this, but when the big-time attention was focused on him during the All-American game workouts (forgot when one he was in), he was pretty impressive. The scouts rated his performance there very highly, which I wasn’t expecting with him going up against some top national competition.

Yeah, I am just a rando with an opinion after watching limited action. He is definitely built like an SEC player.
