It really tugs at my heart to know he lost his Dad so soon after this experience.

My beloved dad passed away during the 2023 Wake Forest game that got LSU into the Championship, and we came home from the funeral to watch the winning game that Monday night. He'd watched that entire season and just enjoyed it so much.

Yes, sports weave all in and out all around our hearts.

If you look closely, you will see that snipers took down Pat Burrell and Alex Cora as Morris was rounding the bases...

Was going to say, this is the LSU Zapruder film

I was in that sea of exhilaration 10 rows up from the Tigers dugout. I could find me if the video was in slow motion.

Met Will in KC years ago in the hotel bar while a group of us were celebrating after we had all just taken our Neurology board exam. Nice guy and a dedicated Neurologist. Never knew he’d become Zapruder 2.0.

I really wish someone that knows him would post and let us know how he's doing.

Sort of off topic, but the video reminds me of how thankful I am for Coach O and the spectacular 2019 football team.

My mom was an absolutely dyed in purple and gold LSU fan, especially for football. In late 2018 she developed memory issues so we moved her from her home to a facility near us. I would go watch the games with her in her room every Saturday and she thought “Joe Burrows” hung the moon. Seeing her so excited about the team that year is something I will always treasure.

She passed just prior to the 2020 season so her last football memories were of the greatest college team ever.

Thanks to everyone involved with that extra special season.

Exactly how I feel about the 2023 baseball team.

I often find solice in the fact that Dad saw the 2019 football championship and enjoyed so much of the 2023 baseball season. Who knows? Maybe there was a special, beloved Marine up there watching over that play at home plate and Tommy Tanks' walk off homer.

Miss you, Old Man.
