Pretty pathetic how some of you have no class. CLM could be at the end of his coaching career and all the signs are pointing to a change but have some freaking class for the man. He was a great coach but more importantly a great guy for many reasons that aren't just football.

It was a great run and I hope he will be affiliated with LSU for many years to come.

Exactly. It's like a magnet for stupid people when bad shite is happening.

Not gonna lie, while I was banned I had time to reflect.

Nobody can say it wasn't a fun ride. If he's gone next week, I'll miss him.

I'm sad to see him go (if he really is leaving).

I know he's not the right coach, but dammit I love the guy.

My father in law told me that he was actively cheering for Ole Miss so that Les would be fired. I can be happy without LSU success, so I almost hope we botch the hire to give fans like him their comeuppance.

Yes. This "great guy" floated a bullshite rumor about bolting to Arkansas in order to extract a preposterous extension from an incompetent AD, thus leaving us in the current position to begin with.'

It's business, I get. But we don't have to lionize the guy as if he's better than any of us.

IMO, after the dust settles and a new coach is announced, Les will get his due respect and appreciation from the whole LSU fan base and family. I think he actually stays in Baton Rouge, as a resident.

I'll be there on Saturday and will stay until after he sings the alma matter with the team, regardless of his status, the weather or the result

Great character, classy guy, eating grass is cool, next year/team is young, qb play, we don't want to end up like Tennessee, etc etc

Apparently a lot of people on this board have short memories.

Don't forget that he wanted to go to Michigan. Thought it was a done deal before Lloyd Carr said no. Carr knew Les and thought better of it.

He was hired as a football coach. He's being fired for being subpar as a football coach.

Including the bullshite rumor in order to extract millions of more dollars from the program?

Amen. Praying for Les Miles and family, the coaching staff, and team -- that no matter what the future holds everything will be OK.

I understand why his job is in jeopardy.

The man deserves & has earned the respect to do it how he wants. Its sad the fans just want to lynch him and have turned on him in matter a few weeks. Its like bad break up when it should not be like that at all.

I honestly think CLM knows a change is imminent but he can go out on his own terms.
