if those reports are true, then it is highly unlikely they spent very much time preparing for something they didn't know was possible.

Come on man. These coaches deal with much more drastic measures every week.

This is no different than him getting a stinger on the first drive and missing the rest of the half.

Honestly, the people acting like LSU has no plan in place for a player missing a half is the most embarrassing part of all of this. These staffs have a contingency for every player on the 2 deep getting injured, so this is SOP.

If we lose, I doubt it will be because a new player wasn’t in for the first half.

enough blame to go around to several parties. Even Haulcy, after he agreed to his deal, should have said, verify that my penalty LY wont hurt us when the season starts.

At least the team could have been bette prepared.

What a bitch post. He is out 1/2 of first game. If you think we lose bc of this, we have bigger issues on this team.

LSU is paying their GM, Austin Thomas, about $850k per year. I'm sorry.... if I'm paying you $850k per year, you damn well better have a packet on EVERY portal prospect WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE any ejection that may or may not carry over to the next season.

PERIOD! I'll do that job for $100k a year.

Wait, you think LSU was unaware that he was ejected?

My take just a further of example of what the NCAA should not be involved in big college football.

What value are the serving do the oversight does the conference does the university.

Time for the top 60 or so to fire the ncaa

Only problem is trying to replace a required P4 OOC on somewhat short notice

Not a sexy pick but Ole Miss had no trouble scheduling Washington State on even shorter notice last year. I’m glad we canceled the Houston game screw them.

We should have covered that base.
Yep, LSU only prepares one SS for each game. What could happen?
I question how does NCAA suspend a player without sending him notice immediately, not just the AD? Are they above this?

Only miserable losers with no life make posts like this. So if LSU knew then he's sitting out the first half anyway. You people are idiots.

No, just appalled at how easily some of you discard this. Not about the player, but about how lazy an $850k per year employee is.
